Career Services at Workforce Centers 

When contacting staff at local workforce centers, employees should inform them that they are impacted by the Safeway layoffs so staff knows they may qualify for services/programs specifically for dislocated workers. List of specific workforce centers and contacts closest to impacted stores: 

Registering with Connecting Colorado

  • Connecting Colorado.gov: Create an online profile now, no need to wait until your last day! Your gateway to opportunity, connecting job seekers with meaningful careers and employers with skilled talent. Job seekers can build resumes, explore job openings, and access resources. 

Healthcare & Connect for Health Colorado

Do not use Google, as many look-alike sites can be used for spam. Be sure to use the link below for their official site. 

Unemployment Insurance Benefits

  • MyUI+ is the online unemployment benefits system for claimants.
